To dress up, or not to dress up: That is the question today.

Halloween is right around the corner and you still don’t have a costume. Don’t worry dear friend, you’re not alone! We believe that dressing up shouldn’t stress you out, or make you uncomfortable either. That’s why we’ve put together this quick and easy Halloween Costume Inspiration for Yoga Instructor using — you guessed it — your yoga pants!

A Witch

Pair your favorite pair of mesh or cutout black leggings with a cute peplum top or sassy black dress. Add a black witch’s hat and broom and you’re good to go! Bonus points for green face paint a la Elphaba.

A Can of Tomato Soup

Pair a long red sweatshirt with a pair of solid red leggings. Add a “label” to the front of your sweatshirt in bold, white letters, and voila! Campbell’s would be proud.

A Cat…or Mouse

Your black yoga pants have come back in handy for this one! Grab your go-to black yoga pants and pair them with a black top and a pair of ears (yogi’s choice). Use black eyeliner to add whiskers and a cute black nose!

Cloud with a Silver Lining

Choose your best blue and silver YogaClub pieces and pair them with a DIY tutu to transform into a cloud with a silver lining! Check out this tutorial on our YouTube channel for all the details!

This costume can also be adapted to a fairy princess or a ballerina by swapping the blues for pink!

80’s Fitness Instructor

A tried and true favorite among the YogaClub team, this costume couldn’t be easier to execute. Plus, it’s a fitness class approved! Throw on your wackiest pair of leggings, a bright-colored sports bra, and an off-the-shoulder tee. Accessorize with a pair of leg warmers, a teased-up side ponytail with a scrunchie, and some neon plastic bracelets!

Yoga Teacher

Wear your favorite yoga outfit and gently correct the posture of every person you meet. Make sure you get your yoga teacher voice (you know the one I mean) going and end every interaction with a bow and a “Namaste” to really drive it home.

Crow

Black yoga pants and a black feather boa. If you can pop into crow pose at the drop of a hat, you’ve got your party trick ready to go too. If people don’t get it, you can always say that you’re Black Swan instead.

Cat Burglar

Keep the black yoga pants from my previous suggestion, lose the feathers, and add a simple black mask. If you want to get punny, throw on some cat ears and perfect your meow.

Mime

An especially good choice for introverts, because you have a built-in excuse not to talk to anyone. Keep those black yoga pants (do you see the theme?), and throw on a striped shirt. White gloves, a black hat, and face paint can add to the look (but your makeup doesn’t have to be that complicated!).

Green Smoothie

Throw on every green thing you own and you’re set. I’m sure you could fashion some kind of paper-mâché straw to wear or carry if you’re ambitious. If you want to really get into character, you could take about how kale is a superfood all night.

Dancing Twins Emoji

Here’s your simple couples costume: wear black clothes, black bunny ears, and be ready to strike that now-iconic twin pose when anyone puzzles over what you’re supposed to be.

Tadasana

Literally, all you have to do is stand there. You could wear your yoga leggings, or not (but really, why would you ever not wear yoga leggings?). The only thing easier would be staying home in your Savasana costume.
